Summary:
The City Charter establishes that City Council shall hold regular meetings at such times as it may determine but no less than one regular meeting per month. Council has established the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month as the days when Council meetings are conducted, excluding the months of June, July, November and December. With 2022 Primary Election set for Tuesday, August 23rd and set-up occurring on Monday, August 22nd the second Council meeting in August will be held Wednesday, August 24th. Attached, is a proposed 2022 schedule of the City Council meetings.
In accordance with the City's "Personnel Policy Manual", when a holiday falls on a Saturday, the holiday shall be observed the preceding Friday. Due to Christmas Day falling on a Saturday, Christmas Day will be observed on Friday, December 24th (and Christmas Eve observed on Thursday, December 23rd).

Staff recommends approval of the Crystal River City Council meeting schedule for 2021.
