Requested Motion: Motion to approve a special event permit, waiver of open container and road closure request for the 2021 Stone Crab Jam

Kings Bay Rotary has submitted a special event permit for their annual Stone Crab Jam to be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 12:00pm-10:00pm. The event will take place on Citrus Avenue and road closures will include: Citrus Avenue from Highway 19 to NW 3rd Street, NW 3rd Street down to Kings Bay Park, NE 5th Street from Citrus Ave. to NE 1st Ave., and NE 4th Street from Citrus Ave to NE 1st Ave. They will follow the same footprint as in years past and will hire CCSO Deputies for security. The waiver of open container will allow for alcohol to be served in the event area by Kings Bay Rotary, only.
