On June 22, 2021, the City of Crystal River entered an interlocal agreement with the Board of County Commissioners of Citrus County providing for the collection and expenditure of transportation impact fees within the City according to the terms and conditions specified in Citrus County Impact Fees Ordinance. The City’s collection of transportation impact fees in accordance with the County’s Impact Fee Ordinance effectively removes the need for Chapter 22 - Transportation Impact Fees of the Crystal River Code of Ordinances, consequently making it obsolete.
Staff Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval of Ordinance No. O-21-08 to Repeal Chapter 22 of the Crystal River Code of Ordinances entitled “Transportation Impact Fees” on First Reading and setting a public hearing for Second and Final Reading on August 9, 2021.
